MDR Disaster Relief  Our mission is to provide relief to clients of disasters.  By providing necessary essentials such as water, hygiene items, cleaning supplies, shelter, rebuild materials, food,  and a shoulder to cry on if need be. We will do temporary repairs such as a tarp on a roof, board on a window, etc. We will also provide mud-outs and rebuilds for the Disabled, Widows/Widower, Veterans, First Responders and Seniors. MDR Disaster Relief  is dedicated to providing help, aid, and assistance to all members of the human family. Because of our compassion for our fellow man, is what it’s all about. We need to help… We HAVE to help!

Who We Are

Founded in 2016, MDR Disaster Relief  is a NON-PROFIT organization that has become active in disaster services.  Inspired by a life-changing event, MDR Disaster Relief was established in 2016 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.



Every person has the chance to make a change for good (no matter how big or small) either through monetary donations, in-kind donations, or if you are willing to dedicate some of your time through volunteering. Hi Kim and Joseph,

Y'all were a great help to my disabled daughter, Lindsey.  Our entire property flooded with up to 12 feet of water, consuming my house, my daughter's house (the guest house on the property), my business and my animal sanctuary.  I had structure insurance on my house, but no content coverage, no insurance on Lindsey's house, my business nor animal sanctuary.  I did not qualify for FEMA help at all because I have excellent credit and was approved for very large loans, which I refused because I would not be able to pay the notes.  So, I emptied all savings to rebuild the business, rebuilt my house with insurance, and volunteers swarmed in to get the animal sanctuary cleaned up and stocked with supplies.  We received furniture donations for Lindsey and appliance donations for both of us.  A disabled van company, MV1, replaced Lindsey's van, and a wheelchair company replaced her power wheelchair.  Your donations helped rebuild her house---sheetrock and paint.  A cabinet maker rebuilt Lindsey's cabinets.  Monetary donations helped with labor, plumbing, electrical, flooring, etc.  Lindsey was back in her house in less than 6 months.  It took me 2 years to get back in my house, and work is still being done.  I made this video of the flood and rebuilding, which shows Lindsey's house being rebuilt.  My house was a long way from being finished when the video was made.
